Stephen Podwojski

We recently worked with Stephen on a house he had listed for sale. Our original offer was faced with a counter offer. I knew from the start of the conversation between our agent and Stephen that this would not be easy. He told our agent "I would hate for your client to lose out on this house over $6k". We accepted the counter offer. Stephen informed our agent that the seller was on vacation and he couldn't reach him by telephone (for 3 days) but he KNEW that he would sign. I knew this story sounded far fetched. My family drives past this house every single day. The whole time that the seller was "unreachable" the house continued to be shown. My son said, "Hey, someone is in my room." I know the market, how things go, and I explained to my son that this wasn't our house yet.Needless to say, once the seller was finally "reachable" they got a better offer. I contacted other agents, brokers, lawyers, and lending agents who all informed me that once we accepted the counter offer it should have been a DONE DEAL. Yet here we were left with nothing. It would have cost more in legal fees to pursue this than the house was worth. We went back and forth and obviously the outcome was not in our favor. I have no intention to ever work with Stephen again and hope this review makes you think twice about working with him as well.

He always looks out for his clients best interest and negotiates hard for them.
