Steve is the worst landlord I’ve ever had to deal with, and landlords already suck. Steve is the owner of rare form and he always acted like we were getting such a deal. It was an old home, with few amenities, high rent, and awful maintenance. The only time he seemed interested in addressing the things that were falling apart in our house, was after we told him we were moving out. This happened at the same time as the other tenants in the building moving out and he decided he would sell the place. During this period he would come into our house with little warning. He wouldn’t give us our security deposit back until I threatened legal action long after the agreed upon period in the lease, and even then he did not give the full amount, nor a reason for the remainder. Do not rent or buy from this guy
