More about Steven Walsh

Buying your first (or second, or third) home is a big step, but I'm here to make it easy and fun. We might not have a camera crew following us around during the process, but you still deserve to find the house of your dreams. I will stop at nothing to make that happen. When I'm not buying or selling your home, I'm hanging out with my wife, brand new daughter, and cat.

    • Steve was a great resource to my husband and I as first time home buyers. He reached out to me on the Next Door app after inquiring about recommendations for buyers agents. He was not pushy at all but just reaching out. After maybe a week we met for coffee to go over where we were in the home buying process. At that point we weren't totally sure if we were going to buy a house. After a couple of weeks there were some homes we were interested in and Steve accompanied us, noting what we did and didn't like about the homes. He set up an account on flexmls for homes matching our needs and ones matching a "dream" house. It was helpful to get those emails and fine tune the search further. After our first showings we met for coffee to again tweak the list of wants and needs. We ultimately signed a buyers-agent agreement with him to make Steve our official agent to make it fair for all parties. It took months of searching online at first on our own, but only about six open houses to find "the one" and Steve was there the whole way with us. He was honest and upfront about the positive and negative aspect of houses, shared realistic expectations about what could and couldn't be fixed, what we could get for our money, considerations about location, and never pushed to go over budget.I greatly appreciate that he was willing to work with us as first time home buyers, though this seems to be his specialty. He also didn't shy away from us as veterans using a VA loan. As a young professional myself I enjoyed working with another young professional.Steve was responsive via e-mail, text, or phone calls- whichever best suited us at the time. The Instagram was a bonus. He was also very receptive to meeting in person to go over details, teach us about the process, and coach us through potential "what-ifs". He stayed positive the whole time and was patient despite the many, many, many questions. It was a professional relationship, but one that wasn't stuffy or overbearing. He kept it light yet informative. If I had to do it over again, I'd go with Steve.

    • Steve was an awesome partner in the hunt for our first home. He answered our unending questions, helped us narrow down neighborhoods, and ultimately suggested stopping by the house now call home. Even after the dust had settled and our move was complete, Steve has gone out of his way to be helpful and point us in the direction of good folks and resources. I cant imagine having done this with anyone else as our realtor.
