Tania Michaels

Tania Michaels entered the real estate industry in 1993 as loan originator and in 2003 was recruited by a major land developer to do land acquisitions in 2003. During her tenure at Focus Commercial Group she brokered over 2,000 acres of land totaling more than $215M. Michaels worked with a team of in-house planners, zoning attorneys and engineers. During the Great Recession, Ms. Michaels began negotiating short sales on commercial properties in default which then led to negotiating short sales on residential properties. Having originally entered the real estate arena through the mortgage industry and then becoming a nationally recognized mortgage broker, Tania brought her extensive knowledge of the banking maze and nearly two decades of experience in real estate negotiations into the short sale market.
