Tawny Poe went well above and beyond what we expected in managing the sale of a house which presented several challenges. We couldn't be happier with how the whole thing went. We needed to sell my mother's house this summer after my dad died last spring. My dad built the house 43 years ago, 3 miles up a gravel road on 24 acres. He built well, but the house had some quirks, and needed a sizable list of repairs and upgrades. Unfamiliar with realtors in the area, we picked Tawnya off the internet. She was a godsend. She got multiple bids for a long list of jobs: tearing out old carpet, replacing dog-stained underlayment, putting in new flooring and carpeting, repairing both bathrooms, upgrading the electrical system, replacing the ancient (and failing) septic tank, repairing decks and railings, repainting much of the interior and exterior, and cleaning. On issues we needed to work out as a family (helping Mom downsize from 25 acres to a one-bedroom apartment, getting rid of a fraying travel trailer, and much more) Tawnya helped as she could -- sometimes in surprising ways -- and otherwise was patient and flexible when we needed it. Most of the contractors she found for us were excellent. When one contractor delayed and initially did shoddy work, she kept after him until he got the job done right. Another contractor did extra (and unneeded) work not on the bid without checking with us and charged an extra $1000; Tawnya negotiated a reasonable settlement and protected us from having to overpay. We have no complaints about Tawnya's work for us. Throughout she was always promptly available, always ready with sound advice but careful to let us make our own choices. She consistently promised more than we expected and delivered each time. We sold the house promptly when it went on the market, for the price we wanted, to people we are thrilled to see move into the house my dad and mom loved for half their long lives. We could not have found a better realtor.

The selling of the house and packing and moving overwhelmed me so much and caused a lot of stress for me. I would say I was extremely fortunate to have her on my side for this experience. She explained everything clearly, she supported my decisions, she gave expert advice, and offered intuitive recommendations.

She asked for the sale ! When we had questions she had the answers and on one occasion she did not have the answer she got right back to us. When looking at other homes listed by other realtors we had questions and their answer was, "give me your email, I will get back to you." Well they never did. Nor did they follow up on our tour of the home.Tawnya treated us like a customer and treated her profession like a job instead of a hobby.
