We hired Terry as our buyer's and seller's agent. We were most impressed with his knowledge of the Charlotte market and his professional approach to the entire process. He offered us lots of support and advice when buying our home, helping us to identify potential issues in homes that we might not have otherwise noticed, due to his extensive experience. When it came time to sell, Terry worked with us to execute some renovations that eventually led to a higher sales price than we expected. He was always very quick to respond to our questions. We really enjoyed our experience with him!

My husband and I were first-time buyers and new to Charlotte. We found Terry here on Zillow, and from our first conversation, he impressed me with his industry and local knowledge, responsiveness, and willingness to help however we needed. Terry and the McDonald Group did an awesome job for us with our relocation from Milwaukee to the Charlotte area. Terry was assigned to us because he was very knowledgable about both the Lake Norman area and Uptown (downtown) and everything in between. He was more than willing to take us anywhere from all the way up in Denver to south of the city and gave us some great detail about each area. Another great thing about Terry was the fact that in his prior career he was a builder. This gave him the ability to be able to quickly identify issues with a house as well as give us advice on anything we could to do add value to the property. Our house hunting days with Terry were always really fun days and he is happy to move at whatever pace you want. He always picked out great lunch locations that were local favorites in each area as well as giving us some nice tours of the downtown area and each neighborhood. Since we were new to Charlotte, Terry's tours and insights were really valuable to figuring out where we wanted to live. In the end Terry gave us some great advice on the home we purchased and was able to negotiate us to a fair price for our house. All in all the experience couldn't have been better from start to finish.
