  • Terri helped me buy a home

We purchased a home listed by Terri. Being a military family relocating from overseas, we relied on her listing for accurate information since we were buying prior to arriving. She incorrectly listed features of the home, which we discovered after moving in, did not exist. Although she admitted that she made a mistake on the listing, she has refused to reconcile, leaving us the option of going to mediation if we want it fixed. This alone wouldn't be a big deal, because it's a few hundred dollar fix, but this whole experience has been a nightmare. We've gone back and forth for weeks about missing keys, the seller left a green pool and all sorts of trash on the property, and the big ongoing issue is that we've had to file a homeowners insurance claim for water damage less than 2 weeks after moving, tearing out half the living room and master closet, after a shoddy remodel job by the seller. Granted, much of this is on the seller, not her, but you would think that she would consider what we've been through and at least show some integrity and accept responsibility for her mistake. No decency after making a $400k sale. Shameful.
