Thien Pham

Mr. Pham is the most unprofessional inconsiderate agent I have ever dealt with. I entered into a contract with Mr. Pham in which he was the buyer and the broker for a residential property I own. The contract was set to be fully executed and one hour before all parties were scheduled to close Mr. Pham chose to intentionally default for reasons outside the contingencies' listed in the contract. As a consequence, the contract I had on a new home was null and void. I already had nearly $5000.00 invested in that new home in the form of earnest money, inspections, loan app fees, HOA statement fees, etc. etc. When I contacted Mr. Pham to get an explanation he said he loved my home and wanted to buy my home but doing so would cause family problems. When asked if he would help cover some of the cost of what I'd lost on the property I was to purchase he said "that's the cost of doing business". The fact that Mr. Pham is a realtor/broker, I am fully confident he knew the damage he would be causing not only me, but also the property owner of the house I was to purchase when he chose to default ONE HOUR before closing. Not only that, Mr. Pham came out for a final walk through of my property the day before closing at 10pm. Totally unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Mr. Pham cost me thousands of dollars, and more grief and inconvenience than I can express in this forum. His response when I reached out to him, "that's the cost of doing business". Under no circumstance would I recommend MR Pham and First American Realty to anyone.
