We interviewed 3 local agents, all with extensive experience in our area. All were qualified but we felt Tom was the most realistic in evaluating our property. Tom gave the highest estimate of what he believed the target price would be, but the deciding factor was the fact that his critique of the house was realistic as he honestly pointed out negatives that were the same as what I already had in mind. My impression was that the other agents were trying to spare my feelings to get the listing. Tom suggested a price $9,000 (7 pct) higher than other agents.
