Tom truly saved the day with our house and we are eternally grateful to him.In spite of our best efforts, we ended up with one of those "bad realtors" you hear about. Our house sat on the market for 3 months with minimal viewings, minimal showings and not one offer. We had left Atlanta and while gone the realtor did bad "improvements" to the property and meanwhile our things sat in storage with a hefty bill. The realtor also let the house deteriorate and when we tried to fire her she promised she would sell the house. The house did not sell and she was henceforth a liar. We met a great realtor where we were living out of state and she put us in contact with Tom. It was like night and day! Tom had us do some reasonable improvements to the house to make it more attractive to buyers, and also patch up the damage done by the other realtor. It was straight forward guidance that about what needed to be done, not minimal repairs that left blemishes and not over the top repairs that would further drain our bank account. Once that was done and the house was listed viewings of the house were coming from all over the place. We had more viewings in a week from Tom than in three months from the other realtor. And it was only a week or so and we had an offer. Then the unthinkable happened. On the day of the closing, the buyers loan fell through. We were absolutely devastated. But Tom was right there with us. All of it via the phone, taking the time needed to put things in perspective. He had the house back on the market before we could even think of doing it. This time there were even more showings and once again, in a few weeks, we had another great offer, showing that he can make things happen even in the worst of circumstances.The other great thing about Tom is his responsiveness. He gets back to you right away, even on the weekend. And at every step of the way he was with us. After having a bad realtor, we were skeptical of anyone else and wary of the process, but Tom offered us guidance and reassurance. And he earned our trust. We really can't say enough good things about Tom. There really aren't words to express how thankful we are to him. Do yourself a favor and use Tom. Tom is "the guy."
