Tina,I'd like to tell you about the outcome of our attempt to get a reduction in taxes owed on our new property. As you know we purchased the 25 acres with a large house. The house was initially appraised at $75000. However further inspection deemed the house unsafe for human occupation but the tax roll for 2016 was already set. The county's policy allows for a challenge as long as pictures can be produced prior to January 1st of the tax year in question. I called you hoping you would even return my call. What I got was so much more. Your efforts, THE FOLLOWING DAY, resulted in the house having its value dropped to $400. That resulted in a tax savings of $1350. Cindy and I have found several things we can do with that money.We truly appreciate your efforts. What is even more gratifying is that you helped us from so far away. We felt as though you were still right down the street. Thank you 1,350 times!
