Excellent Negotiation Skills: Todd's negotiation skills are top notch. He has a way of getting along with people so that conversations open up, and questions and concerns are addressed and resolved. An example of this occurred when the appraisal on my house came in lower than the agreed upon sales price. It seemed like a big deal at first, but Todd was creative in his negotiating, such that he calmed the sense of challenge with his open minded approach. I think his natural ability to make everyone feel considered, welcomes others into that open and creative mind set too. Todd stayed in communication with me and with the buyer's agent until everyone felt right about moving forward. As it turned out, I believe everyone got what they wanted. Kind and Present: The sale of my house went very fast, and Todd was present every step of the way... even more than I could have imagined. Here's an example of his kindness and presence... I was out of town and planning to return in time for a termite inspection on my house. Todd was aware of a possible storm where I was staying, and called me to say he'd be there for the inspection if I couldn't make it back in time. What... he was keeping track of the weather where I was staying? That's Todd... he goes the extra mile. I felt so supported. What a great feeling! We just sold our home in LA and moved to Santa Clarita. Todd Jones was our Agent for both the sale of the old and the purchase of our new home. Three years prior Todd had been our buying agent on another property. We have used Todd Jones for three real estate deals. I met Todd through a friend and co-worker who had used his service to buy and sell multiple properties with great success. Recently, I called Todd to help us sell our home in LA, which he did in about a week. All the while we were driving around Santa Clarita, Canyon Country and Castaic with him trying to find a new place...which of course we found. He was great and patient. We gave him listings all over the place and often would take our two year old daughter on half-day house hunting trips looking at more than 12 properties at a time. We didn't always go in if we drove past and it wasn't right we just went to the next one. Todd has a great set up that emails you new listings daily as they come out so you can set your parameters and let them come to your phone. He also showed us an app for our phone that would alert us to homes for sale as we drove through select areas. We found our new home before our old one closed escrow and were able to move out of one and into the other. Todd possesses old school customer service which I find rare and highly valuable.

Todd helped us sell one house buy two different homes. He was very easy going and did not pressure us into buying anything. He was very willing to take time to show us a variety of homes as well as walk us through the buying process. Todd is helpful, friendly, genuine, as well as experienced, organized and business savvy. It went awesome ! We were so very lucky to have found this agent. We went through a month of using the wrong agents, trying to find one that was available or even cared about what WE wanted or needed. We wanted a house, not a condo, with a yard, near my husband's work in a nice neighborhood, for under 250,000. Todd was one of the only ones, not trying to tell us we had to buy a condo for the money we could afford. He was very very available to show us homes, when we needed it, as my husband has a very busy work schedule. Having met with other agents by myself, and being a woman, I was very comfortable with my safety with Todd as well. I would have had no problem meeting him alone at an empty home to see. He was also great about getting back with you quickly to confirm when to go see homes, so you could schedule the rest of your week. When going to see homes, he excelled in this area too. Not only did he get the combination codes needed for access in a timely fashion, he didn't try and sell us on any home we'd happen to see, he sincerely just wanted to find us a home that we'd be happy in which to live. He also would look at each home with an honest critical eye, not trying to hide flaws but help us find the perfect home. He also was able to recommend an excellent mortgage broker, Michelle Pelayo, which ended up being a huge favor. He found the home for us that we eventually purchased. I was very pro-active in looking, but missed this one. When we decided to make an offer it was a Saturday night. Todd went home, and did an online offer, and we were in place ahead of anyone else that would bid after us as early as that Saturday night-very cool. He worked tirelessly with the bank owned property agents to help get us the repairs that were needed. It seemed like if I hadn't spoken with Todd for a couple of days, and wanted to touch base, to see if certain things had been done, when I called, he had already handled whatever it was, and was simply awaiting an answer. We couldn't have been happier with finding him, and recommend him to everyone we know that looking for a real estate agent. We ended up, within our price range, finding a 2000 sq.' home with a yard, near my husband's work, vaulted ceilings, and an amazing view of the mountains. It is also, in a low crime area in a nice neighborhood-everything we wanted. We also have squirrels that look into the sliding glass doors at us, so cute and awesome. Also, he assisted us with setting an enticing selling price that would create interest and attract buyers. He took professional quality pictures that really highlighted the property. Within DAYS of being on the market, we had multiple offers and within a month had sold the property for an amount we are pleased with. We enjoyed working with him so much that we also choose him as our buying agent. TODD - BUYING AGENT: All we had to do is send him info on the properties we were interested in and he did EVERYTHING. Many properties were by appointment only. He did all the contacting and scheduling for viewings. Each day we viewed a multitude of properties all expertly coordinated by Todd. He spent hours driving us from house to house. The hardest thing we had to do was "Hmmm do we like it" and of course "Oh gosh, property is so expensive in LA." I can easily say Todd is one of the BEST professionals I have ever worked with. Todd went out of his way to help us when we were looking for our first home. He was always flexible in finding what we were looking for and very responsive in answering all our questions. If we had a question or issue with something he would find the answer and communicate it to us immediately. He was always on time with every appointment and very efficient in scheduling multiple appointments. Honestly, Todd was / is amazing. I found Todd online and decided to give him a shot seeing as though my wife and I weren't happy with our current realtor. He literally put these other realtors to shame with his professionalism, availability, responsiveness, and over all quality of service. Along with the fact that Todd was always positive and is a genuinely nice guy, he was attentive to our wants and needs and helped guide us through the entire process of purchasing our home with the least amount of pain possible. He actively worked for us throughout the purchase process to insure that we were getting all issues with the property and with contracts taken care of quickly and efficiently. As our real estate agent, Todd guided us through the complicated and stressful process of selling our home of 30+ years.
