Towanda Brunson

Towanda was so helpful in finding me my first home. She was very patient and showed me every house I wanted to see. She made me feel like I was her only client. From helping me figure out what kind of house i was looking for to signing the closing documents, she helped me through every step of the way.

We can't even begin to put into words how wonderful working with Towanda was. She honestly was more of a friend through this whole process than an agent. I began working with her a number of years ago, feeling out the market as a single home buyer. The timing never felt quite right for me and then when I met my now husband, I put home buying on the back burner. Towanda was so understanding the whole time, she was never trying to push me or us into a sale and always told us we'd know when the time was right to buy. When that time did come, she listened to all our desires for our home, from what we were looking for, to neighborhoods, and of course, price. She always let us guide her in our search while helping us remain open to all the options. We had our heart set on one home in particular, and after a heart breaking inspection, she was right there knowing how disappointing it was to feel like you are waking away from the home of your dreams. We quickly found a new (better!!) home that we purchased and Towanda was amazing through the entire purchasing process. For two people who have never bought real estate, it's a daunting process, but Towanda knew every step we'd be going through and gave us a heads up on what we'd be expecting. I can't even tell you how many text messages I sent her (hundreds) and she responded to each and everyone, usually within a few minutes! I have been highly recommending her to anyone and everyone I know who is going through the home selling and buying process. She is amazing and she knows the real estate market like the back of her hand. And she's fun. So, so much fun. Laughter makes the whole process so much better!

I was more than blessed to have had Towanda as my realtor. My experience purchasing my home was an extremely unusual and difficult one, and Towanda was sent by the divine to help me through it and negotiate on my behalf. After meeting with her and explaining our wants and needs for a house she went straight to work finding houses that met our criteria in neighborhoods we had not previously considered. Even though our criteria was very strict she was able to show us houses that opened up possibilities. She was never pushy or in a rush to have us bid on a home. Towanda helped me find and purchase my first home. What I expected to be an intimidating and somewhat scary process was stress-free and enjoyable. I never felt pressured to put an offer in on any of the houses I looked at, and I felt like she listened to my concerns/priorities and genuinely wanted to help me find the best house for me. It really felt like I was "house-shopping" with a friend, rather than someone who was making a commission off of my decision.When the inspection came back with major issues on a house I had an offer on, she talked through my options with me, always maintaining an unbiased perspective and helped me figure out what was best for me. When I decided to walk away from that house, she was supportive and ready to go with a list of new houses to see. She opened my eyes to things I probably wouldn't have otherwise noticed about houses/neighborhoods - I learned a ton and had a great time looking at houses with her. She was always positive and encouraging - no matter how many houses I wanted to see. She was always willing to accommodate to my schedule and was very responsive and easy to get a hold of whether it was through email, phone call, or text. I have recommended Towanda to many of my friends and will continue to do so. I look forward to working with her again whenever I'm ready to move on to my next house!
