Travis Fox helped me and my wife find and purchase a home in Bellingham in September 2015. What a pleasant experience it was working with him!Most importantly, he is an honest and kind person. That meant a lot to us. He doesn't present and work like many realtors or other sales professionals: he was very focused and present with us, he never pressured us but, with uncanny timing, he would occasionally ask us where we were in our decision process and ask us to reflect for him on the properties we were looking at. He was interested in us as people and not just as clients. He doesn't often offer his opinions but will when asked; if you ask him a question, he will give you a thoughtful, measured, well researched response. He's not bubbly or over-talkative, and we liked that.A particular strength of his is relentlessly honing in on what we valued as potential homeowners (and what was less important to us) and, then, matching our responses to properties that were available on the market.He's funny...he has a wry sense of humor that we enjoyed!Travis knows the Bellingham market very well, and has good relationships and contacts with professionals having anything to do with housing in the area. We loved Travis because he let us walk around homes at our leisure with zero pressure to hurry. He wasn't talking the whole time like some realtors, and he gave us our distance so we could chat without feeling watched. He sent us listings he found that he thought were a good fit for us. He took us back multiple times to the same home when we requested. He remembered our preferences (we were picky - it took us 14 months to find the right home!). He listened to us and respected the research we had done beforehand so he didn't tell us information we already knew. He pointed out key features (neighbor noise level, mountain view, etc.) that we hadn't noticed. Travis also knows how to use technology so we could submit offers with electronic signatures in the middle of the night without waiting for faxes or business hours. He responded to emails, calls, and texts.

Travis came highly recommended from a co-worker, and I am so happy to have worked with him in the purchase of our home! We had several challenging situations, and looked at homes over a large area for some time before we found the right house. Through it all, Travis made himself available happily, gave us valuable input for all our decisions, and always responded immediately to any question via text, email, or phone.
