Our experience with the firm has been terrific. We are currently under contract to sell our house, which came about only 3 months after listing the property with Truss. From the start, Trevor and Luke impressed us with their skilled and energetic approach to marketing our property, including producing beautiful photos for the listing. I dealt primarily with Trevor, who has a strong and confident (but not pushy) manner and I appreciated his advice on pricing and assistance in negotiating with prospective buyers. He demonstrates great familiarity with our local, upstate market, but having started his career in NYC, I feel he has an advantage in being familiar with the most likely buyers for our property in Hudson. As a result of his broad experience in real estate, he sees things in perspective and is always calm when there are bumps in the road. When there appeared to be a very interested potential buyer who was dragging his feet a little, Trevor suggested a slight reduction in price and scheduling an open house, which made me nervous at first because I thought it would scare away the bird-in-hand, but it resulted in weeding out the less serious shopper and producing our ultimate purchaser in no time. Trevor is also very quick to respond and uses technology extremely well in communications between the parties, staff, and in the sales process. In addition, he is well versed in so many areas, such as zoning, title, and various legal issues, to name a few, but can also think outside the box when needed. I don't think I have to wait until closing in order to write this review because even if this sale were to fall through, it's apparent that Truss has what it takes to find another buyer just as quickly.
