She stuck by us during a very difficult time in the market, and always kept our preferences and timeline top-of-mind. Being new to Washington and Kitsap County, Valerie gave us context into the different towns. She listened to us and became familiar with what was important to us (school districts, shopping, etc) and helped us narrow our focus pretty quickly. When it came to making offers, Valerie took the time to walk us through the basics as first-time home buyers, and made sure we were putting our best foot forward. She was strategic and included complex clauses that made us more competitive and ultimately have an offer accepted. Once in escrow, Valerie walked us through all aspects of the process, and gave us guidance around what it means to be a first-time home buyer, including on-boarding utilities, giving us recommendations for home improvement vendors, and tips on navigating our new hometown.Valerie truly understands how emotional a process this can be, and was empathetic and offered excellent advice and a hopeful attitude along the way.
