I recently purchased a wonderful turn of the century property in Old Colorado City. Valerie not only found the property for me but she then worked tirelessly to ensure both my banker as well as the seller made all of the myriad of deadlines associated with the contract. I am by no means a sophisticated buyer and Valerie patiently explained how each stage of the process worked and then personally ensured there were no delays. Through her keen guidance, I avoided a problematic roof. Because of her experience in the industry I was also able to find a great contractor to help with some interior improvements and have those improvements rolled into the loan itself. I have purchased several homes and I have never dealt with a realtor who was as competent and committed as Valerie was during this transaction. We closed on time and that in itself speaks volumes. I can't wait to move into my wonderful new property and Valerie was instrumental at every stage in making that dream a reality.

Our family was moving from Germany to Colorado Springs and we immediately began searching for information on communities and properties to determine if we should buy or rent our next home. It was only after a few searches we decided it would be ideal to buy. After contacting a representative at my future place of employment I was referred to Valerie Ochsendorf who we contacted immediately. She asked us what our needs and wants were to help in finding available homes on the market and immediately forwarded listings for us to look at. This was extremely helpful due to the 8 hour time difference between us. Valerie was extremely helpful through the entire process. She answered her phone outside of what would be normal business hours with enthusiasm and if for some reason she could not answer she replied to our messages almost immediately. Having lived here for many years, Valerie has a keen understanding of the local market. She assessed my needs with a list of questions to determine desired location, price range, and amenities. After talking with me to establish some initial search parameters, Valerie provided me with daily listings of available townhomes that fit the criteria, as well as some viable options that I hadnt even considered. Valerie always handled my questions or concerns with ease and promptly returned emails or phone calls at any time of day. Once we made an offer and the sale was imminent, Valerie persisted with important reminders about next steps for me to accomplish such as transferring utilities/cable and alerting billing companies to my change of address. In short, she was always working to make my house purchase as simple and successful as possible. I am so fortunate to have had Valerie on my side and would recommend her to anyone!

Valerie was the BEST! On top of being one of the sweetest people I know, she is very detail oriented, knows her paperwork and doesn't mess around. She was on it from the beginning, putting the For Sale sign up immediately, getting the house listed, having an open house all within the first week. Had an offer by day 10. At closing, Valerie knew her paperwork details and numbers like the back of her hand and had to explain some details to the buyer's because their realtor was completely unaware, unprepared and completely uneducated on. I was so impressed with Valerie and will recommend her to EVERYONE!!!!!
