Warren Chaney

I have hired property managers to manage my rental property for 8 years smoothly. Since I hired Warren as my property manager, my nightmare started. There was some shower leaking issue, I agreed him to hire whatever the resources he needed to fix it. Several months passed by, after I paid $1400 per his request, the issue was still existing. He didn't admit his incompetence and irresponsibility, instead he yelled at me and called neurotic. Then COVID19 started, the tenant didn't want to pay rent and took advantage of the unfixed leaking issue to sue me. He still keeps close connection with the tenant after I fired him and offered her fake information to sue me. I have all documents to support my review.

If you have another choice in your rental/property manager I highly recommend taking it over Warren Chaney. I had a very bad experience renting with Warren Chaney as my property manager. He takes advantage of people, is not a great communicator, talks down to people, contracts cheap companies for repairs, and then does not provide proper documentation for repairs. We authorized a $250 repair for a door, in which I paid cash, and Warren Chaney decided to have a different company do the work, did not provide a quote for the new company prior, and did not provide the invoice for the repair once complete - I believe I was overcharged as he wont provide documentation to show me otherwise. All of my neighbors disliked him, and even the landlord was frustrated with his lacking and sometimes disrespectful communication.
