We worked with agents from West Palm Beach all the way up the coast to Ponte Vedra and as far out as Tampa and Wendy is by far the best real estate agent in all of Florida. When we finally decided that St. Johns was the place for us, it was a huge blessing to get to work with Wendy. With all the information that is online out there, real estate agents have to go the extra mile to provide a valued service and Wendy did just that and more. During the shopping process we lived 3 hours away, were traveling a lot and have 4 year old twins that had to tag along. Wendy helped my family find our forever home. This was our second home purchase and was a complete 180 compared to our first realtor. We found Wendy through a Veterans Facebook page in Jacksonville FL who recommended her, she had unparalleled knowledge of the local area and the VA Loan. This was a corporate relocation from the midwest. I knew very little about the area. My family and I worked with Wendy from the day I was asked to consider a relocation until the final paperwork was signed. I could not have asked for a better experience. Wendy and I first interacted with a phone call to discuss the area. We went over the area and talked about what I thought I wanted in a new house. From there, Wendy spent time with us on a look-see trip to get a feel for the area and she set up a number of visits around the area to get a feel for the neighborhoods and the kind of house we were looking for. Wendy was very patient with us while we worked through the entire decision making process about deciding to move to Jacksonville. She was constantly in communication with my family and I while we updated our search criteria, geographic focus and budget. She worked with us on different schools, including helping us with some of the private schools in the area. When we finally made the decision to move, our old house sold much more quickly than we anticipated, meaning that our preliminary home search trip became a house buying trip. Wendy immediately shifted her plans to make sure that she was available for the entire weekend to help us find a home. She lined up multiple visits and coordinated with the local develop and builder to talk about new construction advantages and disadvantages. When we found the home we loved, Wendy worked through the negotiations with us - clearly explaining the offer, counter offer and process. She set us up with a clear expectation of what to expect and she used her knowledge and experience to include things in the offer that we wouldn't have considered that ultimately resulted in us saving money in the purchase and in our first months of living in our new home. Since we were moving from a long distance, we were not able to be at the home during the many inspections. Wendy coordinated with the home inspector, WDO inspector and appraiser to ensure that they had the access they needed when they needed it. During the inspection, Wendy and the inspector noticed that there were additions to the home that would result in homeowners insurance savings and quickly called me to coordinate with the inspector to have the extra work done (which resulted in a SIGNIFICANT savings on my insurance). Wendy also handled all of the final paperwork which made our process easy when we finally showed up with the moving truck. It was a great experience and it all had to do with Wendy's professionalism and expertise. Finally, I need to mention that through the entire process, Wendy worked with my entire family. My five-year-old son was with us for every visit, showing and meeting. Wendy developed a nearly instant rapport with him that allowed my wife and I to tour each house and spend as much time as we needed. By the end of the process, my son had grown very fond of Wendy which gave us even greater confidence in her. My family and I are so glad we had the chance to work with Wendy.
