The character and values that we live by and that I first implemented when I started my business over 18 years ago are now being used as the foundation to build our family. When not chasing children, I love to unwind with feeling the warmth of the sun and getting outside in my flower garden, painting, reading, and even practicing Tae Kwon Do. My father and grandfather were both builders. As the eldest daughter of four, I was always enlisted to help out on construction sites. My dad would say, “Many hands make light work.” So that is what we did. From cleaning up litter in a foot of mud, to laying drain tile, interior painting, or clearing a roof from snow. I was there for it all! I loved it. That was part of my life. I learned the value of work. I graduated from Forest Hills Northern High School and attended Aquinas College, where I earned a degree in Business. I then thought, “Now what do I do?” For me, it was simple. I combined my affinity for homes with my passion for people. A profession in Real Estate offered the perfect blend of both worlds.
