Alice helped me buy my house 15 years ago. In 2012, she helped me sell it in a COMPLETELY different market. She staged my home beautifully. During the escrow process, she followed up when everyone else kept dropping the ball. And boy, do I mean everyone else... I'm a repeat customer, obviously. If I ever buy anything else in L.A. -- I'll be turning to Alice Plato!

We met Alice at an open house many years ago and kept her in mind because of her knowledge of the neighborhood, talent in presenting the home, professional attitude and sales skills. When the opportunity came up to sell our family home I obtained multiple appraisals and interviewed a select group of realtors. Alice came out on top in all respects. Before putting our home up for sale, we interviewed a few real estate agents and chose Alice Plato. She staged our 2,400 sf home at no extra cost to us, suggested a listing price higher than we had expected and, right on schedule, the "for sale" sign appeared in our front yard on the targeted date. An Open House attracted nearly 70 lookers and, believe it or not, the first couple who saw it -- bought it. Alice negotiated the longer escrow we needed, arranged the various necessary inspections and managed the escrow process to the point we never had to get involved. She was adept at resolving some snags with our buyers, as well as quick and calm in responding to a few pop-up issues. I met Alice Plato when I walked into her open house (just a few weeks ago) of what has now become my current home. Alice became my realtor that day, and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. We got a fantastic buyer and everything closed on time, with my new property closing 2 days later. One additional thing to mention is that Alice goes above and beyond. The new home I purchased was an older property, packed with charm, but also its share of things which needed attention. Alice stood by me and got the seller to approve of many items to be replaced or repaired. She took care of every last detail, with her extensive network of people to handle everything under the sun. In addition, she has impeccable taste. For instance, the new replacement appliances she negotiated for the seller to replace, which she chose, were beautiful. I dont know how Alice juggled so many details and time pressures so well; with taking care of each item on the list. I have a very stressful job and I could not do what she does, nor half as well. It has been a whirlwind of buying and also selling a home in a little over a month. I would not have been able to get through it with anyone else at the helm. Anyone who has Alice Plato representing them, is a very fortunate person, and I feel blessed that she came into my life. When we were looking to buy a home in Playa del Rey, we interviewed a few different agent. Alice is a true professional at the top of her game. I don't know how she maintains her passion for her job after 25 years, but that passion will sell your place.
