Alka Nigam

The reason for the lowest rating is her lack of professionalism. She was/is the selling agent in the property. We had put in an offer to which the seller counter several times. Communication was prompt and good at this point. On the last counter offer from the seller's we agreed to their terms and Nigam advised our agent that they would go ahead and sign a contract to start the process. Well, they did not sign. The next morning we contacted our agent as to the status of the contract and if the seller's needed more time. Our agent reported that she had been calling and emailing Nigam to no avail for the whole morning and beginning of the afternoon. Nigam could have easily said that there was another offer on the home and asked our agent if we wanted to meet or exceed that offer but instead of negotiating to get the most money for the seller's she did not answer calls or any emails. When she finally decided to answer some communication, she did it in the form of an email to our agent. She did not have the courtesy to at least phone another peer (our agent). She is unethical and does not work in the best interests of either a seller or buyer. Like I said, she could have easily worked with us to get her seller more money.
