More about Allen Owens
Originally from a small town south of Atlanta, Ga. Allen joined the Marine Corps in 1979 where he served for 6 years. He was stationed in several different locations around the world including Okinawa Japan, Camp Pendelton, Ca, Camp LeJeune, NC and New River Air Station, NC.
After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1985 he went to work in the insurance industry for a few years with Life of Georgia. In 1989 he was hired by GEICO Insurance Co. where he spent the next 20 years in the corporate world. His last position with GEICO was managing the claims department for the state of South Carolina and part of Georgia.
Allen took an early retirement from GEICO in 2009 and went into Real Estate with his wife, Mia, at Carolina One Real Estate. Allen and Mia built a successful team that was one of the top groups at Carolina One Real Estate helping families sell their ...
