Taking the scenic route is always my first choice. I remember as a child, choosing the route for a family drive, I fell in love with the area’s old trees and beautiful farms. I loved nothing more than stopping to move a box turtle out of the road, and still today, I am awestruck when driving the backroads of our community. I moved to Chapel Hill in 2001 as a first generation college student to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Never could I have imagined that I would hang around long enough to graduate with a Master’s in Social Work in 2009, meet and marry an amazing partner, Clayton, and start raising a family. The question often comes up, “How in the world did you go from social work to real estate?!
