Bob Camara

Bob de Camara moved from Chicago to the high country with his wife and family of five small children (then ages 12, 10, 8, 6 & 4!) in 1994 after discovering its incomparable beauty during a family visit. Too young to retire, he sold his automotive concerns in Chicago and opened Mountain Properties in April of 2000. He affiliated with Prudential from 2003 – 2010. In 2010 Bob’s son, Matt (then 28) asked if he could return to the mountains and join his father in the business, Bob was only too happy to say yes! In fact on Matt’s first day in the business they agreed to rename the firm – Boone Real Estate. Bob has dedicated the firm to providing concierge service to clients seeking or selling distinctive homes near Boone while providing a livelihood in the mountains he has come to love. With Matt having entered the firm and in particular with the technology he leverages for Boone Real Estate clients, Bob can rest assured that the dream will continue!
