Brian sold us a house in which the seller Don Schillinger lied on the property disclosure. The disclosures listed no known leaks or backups on the property and within a week of moving in we found the kitchen sink and dishwasher leaking into the basement, cracks that leaked from the sewage line in the basement behind drywall, and water backing up into the back yard from a damaged storm drain. Brian and the seller claimed that because this was a rental property they didn’t know about any of this. We contacted the previous tenants also told us that the bedroom ceiling has been leaking for months with noticeable water stains. Before listing the property the seller had the entire place painted over which must’ve included covering up the stains. Surely he must’ve known to some extent about any one of these issues as Brian assured us that they had frequented the property numerous times before listing. I called Brian several times to confirm that this is how he and his seller do business and he continued to deny and take no accountability for anything on part of his or the sellers. We spent thousands of additional dollars to repair the drain lines, roof, plumbing, and dishwasher leak. Overall Brian was pushy, rude, immature and manipulative throughout the entire process of bidding and inspection negotiations.
