I visited the Raleigh area two years before I purchased my home. At the time she told me if I wanted to have a short commute to Raleigh not to look below Ten Ten Road. Two years later I had forgotten that statement. I wanted a golf course community in Garner that fit the bill. When I began looking again there were no homes available either in price range or floor plan. She knew I was an artist and wanted easy accessibility to the city. She paired me with a mortgage lender who lived in a golf course community ( in the country ) . The lender basically took over telling me how wonderful it was. I could not leave my terminally ill husband in a western state, so I decided on a home via Facebook with my sister and Kelly. There was a lack of communication among all three of us. I was a former real estate agent and researched most of the homes via internet. I just did not know enough about the Raleigh area or outlying towns because I was not familiar with the area. What is country to one may be considered small city to another. Maps can only do so much. I do not feel qualified to give a review because I made a monumental decision under great duress and that is on me.
