1. Petty 2. Vindictive 3. Needs every ego boost you can give him Chad decided to have the roof on my house changed 30 days before we were about to move out. The FRIDAY afternoon of memorial day weekend, he decided that that would be a good time to let us know the roof would be taken off our house the following TUESDAY. Literally gave us no time to prepare as it was a holiday weekend we would be gone for and ALSO how was I supposed to get work off over a holiday weekend with three days notice? He ensured me they wouldn't go in the house (like I hope not, seriously don't know why that had to be said), but my dog has major anxiety (takes medication) and people stomping and pounding on the roof all day while nobody is home probably wasn't great for him. Luckily, I was able to have a friend come by for a few hours the first day. Other than that, I'm sure my dog was terrified the entire time. The roofers didn't speak a word of english, couldn't let me know when they'd be done, left 50+ nails around my house, I'm sure they were illegal... they were just horrible roofers. Chad did not care. He said he understsood, but immediately said 'well it's still going to happen'. The last month we were there, we had people coming and looking in our windows because he had posted the property for rent online already. The last month was very uncomfortable. He brought up my dispute with the roof being done to potential apartment complexes I was going to move into as well, getting me denied. He claimed multiple times when we paid rent only a few days late that he would not count it as technically a late payment, he did anyway. DO NOT rent from him. He ONLY cares about getting the home rented out, nothing else. He is not easy to deal with and has an ENORMOUS ego that he wants you to feed. Disagree with him and he turns into the petty human he is. DO NOT RENT FORM CHAD KAMP.
