- Chad helped me buy a home
Chad Wright was the listing agent of the home I purchased. His company, Wright Holdings, LLC, "flipped" the home I purchased. He painted the home which has vinyl siding. He did not disclose that the home was painted. Vinyl siding can only be painted with a certain kind of paint, otherwise causing irreparable damage. The siding has melted, warped and completely come off the house. He put some sort of patch material to heavily damaged corners of the house and painted over them. They have since fallen off, paint has come off, exposing the "repairs" underneath. He did the same to apparent holes/cracks in the siding. Patched and now all exposed. He poured a concrete patio over sprinkler heads in the yard, burying them. He cut heads off sprinkler lines and buried the open pipe. He put finishing nails through baseboards nailing in to the water pipe which caused a huge leak and came down through my kitchen ceiling and destroyed it. The grout in certain areas of tile came up immediately. I have been in contact with Chad Wright since October of 2019 trying to resolve the issues. I had to hire an attorney. Chad Wright has stated several times that he will replace the siding. To date, he has not followed through with these statements and will not return my emails. The siding repair is estimated at $19,000. This real estate agent failed to disclose many, many damages his company made to my home.
Show More - Chad and I connected, but did no business
Chad Wright and is a contractor, seller, and real estate agent. I was interested in purchasing a home that Chad had "flipped" with great features and the basement was finished with a nice wet bar. When asked, Chad failed to provide the appropriate permits for the remodel and failed to disclose that the home contained Asbestos. As part of due diligence in purchasing the home, I have hired a company to perform an Asbestos Inspection. The inspection resulted in asbestos titles hidden underneath the new carpet located in the finished basement. The asbestos tiles were disturbed by the stapling of the new carpet placement. Asbestos was also found in the HVAC system. Instead of hiring professionals in Asbestos abatement, he covered the old HVAC piping with new pipping, which caused concerns of asbestos circulating within the home. Trust was definitely lost with Chad and understanding that new drywalls were placed in this home, I can only imagine all the asbestos that he may have disturbed behind the new drywall. If you are planning to purchase a "flipped" home, please do your homework and prevent yourself from making a big financial mistake.
