We've decided to retire to the South to be closer to family and to save money over the ridiculous cost of living in So Cal. Birmingham caught our eye through a 55 Place ad. We responded to the ad on a Sunday night at 8:00 pst. Within minutes, Christina called us back, and...it was after 10:00 cst. Our first impression of her was that she was really responsive. After chatting for 30 mins or so, we knew she had a keen understanding of our needs, budget and lifestyle. We first visited at the end of June and we worked with Christina for two full days. We came very close to buying the second house we saw, but fortunately for us...it didn't work out. After completely falling in love with Birmingham, we went back to SoCal and were determined to find the house of our dreams. Over the next week or so, we were in constant communication with "CJ" and we received her daily housing updates with all coming very close, but not quite our dream house. On August 4, we spotted an announced open house online. We loved it but realized it may go quickly and we could only look at pictures. But...Christina was more than willing to go to the house and give us a Facetime video tour that same afternoon, on her way home from a personal family outing. After the video tour, we were convinced this was our new home and we made an offer that same night. After a few hours of back and forth negotiations, Christina had finalized our deal, and it was way past 10:00 cst on a Saturday night. With our deal accepted, we scheduled a trip to see our new home while escrow was in process and we just got back to So Cal yesterday. All in all, three weeks from start to finish and Christina was with us every step of the way. We couldn't be more pleased and we are most grateful for the fabulous service we received from our new good friend, Christina James.

We can't say enough good things about Christina! After reading so many amazing reviews I knew I'd be a fool not to ask her to helps us find our new home. Christina is amazing! I have worked with her in selling my home as well as finding the perfect one to buy. She was referred to me by a neighbor and after reading ALL of her 5 Star reviews, I decided to call her. It was a Saturday afternoon so I assumed I would be prompted to leave a voicemail. Not only did she answer my call, she spoke with me at length giving me advice on what to paint and what items to move (or pack away) as if I were her only client. I was so impressed with her attentiveness and helpful advice in making my home more sellable that I made all the changes she suggested and was ready to sign a contract within two weeks. Christina was always communicative, persistent, helpful and constantly thinking outside the box with her marketing ideas. She even rushed over to straighten up the house because I was unable to leave work for the last minute showing request -- turns out they were the couple that bought it! I can't say enough good things about Christina and I am so very glad that I picked up the phone to make the call on that Saturday. She is not only a great realtor but now someone I am pleased to call my friend!
