  • Clara never responded to my request

      WORST REALTOR EVER!!!!! Super unprofessional, took days for her to respond in regard to our rental application. And then at the very last moment told me the owners went with another application. But failed to advise us other applicants were being reviewed. I would advise staying away from her if you're apartment hunting. She will slow you down more than anything !

        Trying to take unwarranted my security deposit and I have contacted the better business bureau and a local attorney to fight her on this act. She is the worst person I have ever dealt with and I will get my money back.

          Agreed that Clara is unprofessional with questionable ethics. Had to contact here multiple times about a property to get any call back or info, took a full deposit (fully unwarranted) on a property and would not respond to any contact about the issue.

            Very unprofessional! Renter BEWARE!!! She is definitely out to BULLY every every nickle/dime out of the renter in unscrupulous ways. I paid $77 application fee in order to have access to the online lease which included many charges and terms that were not part of the advertised property. I requested to have these resolved and have not heard back from her. In my case the advertised property was $899/month with a $1500 security deposit to be returned after move out inspection...less any cost for damages that may have incurred. Deposit seemed high but fair enough since I knew what I was getting into, right? After paying the $77 application fee, I was directed to the online lease application. The lease included a $100 per incident maintenance fee if ANYTHING in the condo went wrong regardless of fault. If the tenant was at fault, then 100% of the replacement cost would be incurred by the tenant. (Everything in the unit was old and tired so this was pretty scary.) Remember that big $1500 security deposit that I thought I would get back....not so fast. Per the Addendum in the contract, $500 of the $1500 security deposit was non-refundable regardless. As I am reading other reviews, it looks like she just keeps the full $1500 and refuses to respond to inquiries. At the end of the lease, there is an automatic $100/month increase in the monthly rent as well as $150 "Rent Renewal Charge". Other "fun stuff" not included in the advertisement are a $75 late fee on the 5th day of the month and $3/day additional afterward, $75 insufficient funds check fee, you are required to purchase personal liability insurance with $100,000 limit of liability, $300 non-refundable pet deposit (in addition to $1500), in the section "Tenant will be in default", item #3 is "Tenant wil be assessed an attorney's fee of $500"...not sure what triggers this. I asked Clara about several of the additional fees and contradictions in the contract and she texted me that the $100/incident maintenance fee was only if the tenant was at fault and that the full $1500 would be returned if property was in same condition. When I asked the contract be changed to reflect this she said no and I haven't heard from her since. Needless to say, I did not sign the contract and felt the need to warn others of her ways.

              THIS IS THE WORST HOUSING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. HER BASIC COMMUNICATION, PROFESSIONALISM, AND JUST OVERALL PERSONALITY IS HORRIBLE. SHE NEVER REPLIES AND WHEN SHE DOES THERE ARENT EVEN PERIODS IN HER SENTENCES, SHE MIS SPELLS ITEMS AND IT TAKES HER DAYS EVEN IF SHE DOES RESPOND. SHE MAKE UP CHARGES, TAKES FOREVER FOR MAINTENANCE ISSUES AND KEPT $500 OF MY DEPOSIT AS AN INSPECTION AND MOVE OUT FEE? I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS IN MY LIFE. DO NOT RENT FROM HER!

                This women NEVER answers the phone and never replies to emails. I’ve been trying to contact her for two weeks. Left several voicemails and have yet to get a call back. I was emailed a general email on my preferences while apartment searching but after I replied I haven’t heard anything back from her. Completely unprofessional. I’m not even sure how she’s able to lease any of her properties if no one can get in contact with her. I’m not sure if she works alone or has others helping but she needs to work on time management.

              • Clara and I connected, but did no business

                  This soulless entity is a thief. I'm a disabled vet. I was moving from Cali to Orlando 2yrs.ago and found a rental property online I contacted her through email send her my info including cell#. She NEVER call me always through email and always eager to tell me to filled out the application and pay the application fee $55. Once the money cleared I never heard from this parasite again. I email her several times after and she never replied, I saved all the emails just in case someone filled a lawsuit against her. I just check out her website and still up and running link here: https://www.claraherrera.com/ I am on a Disabled Veteran on a tight budget and she knew it. I guess people value money more than humans, one day your judgement will come and it ain't gonna be pretty. When she's her death bed all this money she thinks she's making is not going to matter one bit. I hope she reads this and I hope she remembers me. Clara Herrera why don't you go back to the jungle you came from and learn proper English because from what I heard you can even speak English properly, I am latino and I learned English the best way I could.
