In the spring of 2007, my wife Kellie and I sold our home and thriving IT consulting business and moved our family from Southern California to Colorado Springs. It was tough pulling up lifelong roots and moving our young family over 1000 miles away, (I gained a profound respect for the men and women of the Armed Forces who are serving our country and frequently have to move). The folks back home still think we are a bit crazy but we have never looked back. Colorado Springs is an amazing city with just about everything you could want.
