I have lived year around in Martinsville for 30+ years. Before moving here I summered in Port Clyde, Tenants Harbor and the Owls Head area. Through the years I have spent a lot of time on off shore islands for both work and pleasure. This includes private islands as well as Vinalhaven, North Haven and Islesboro. I would say that I initiated the first vacation rental business in this area, starting with my family houses and my friends' properties. This grew into a substantial business. Because of that work I have gotten to know almost every waterfront property in the area! Truly!
