I cannot stress how important having a great realtor like Dee is in such a stressful time. Dee was one of three CT relocation realtors referred to us through a program called "HomeAssist" connected with a 55+ active community my sister and I were buying into in PA. He was the first to contact us, he arrived punctually and with impressive materials to demonstrate what he would do for us as a realtor. He was the most organized of the three realtors we interviewed. That was important to me as I am a person who dot's all my i's and crosses all my t's! Once we selected him, the whole selling process went very smoothly. I liked that he commended me on how well I had prepared my home for sale. He was willing to work with my situation, which was that my house could not close until our house in another state was ready for occupancy. He took flattering pictures of the house and wrote good but honest descriptions of the home. I particularly liked that he referred to my home, a small but added-onto Cape Cod from 1949, as a home lovingly cared for and maintained (which was true!). I had an offer within 5 days of the house hitting the market. He asked me how I wanted to proceed, and I asked him to come in person to meet with me and explain all the options since I had lived in the same house for 41 years, had never sold a home, and knew almost nothing about the selling process. I appreciated his responsiveness. Once the house was under contract, I also liked that he seemed genuinely pleased that the buyers appreciated my home, felt excited about it -- it wasn't "just a house" they were buying. I liked that Dee said the sale was a good fit because we (both parties) were nice people and it made him feel good to see us linked up as seller and buyer. There were a few snags with inspections, appraisals, etc. that I had to cope with but Dee kept me calm and focused when I became overly worried. He also was sympathetic to my complaints about how many hoops I had to jump through. 4 weeks before our moving date, my sister was hospitalized for a sudden operation for cancer, which we were of course not expecting. Dee was very attentive, checking to see how she was doing and he also sent a nice get-well card to her. He was, during this time, very sensitive and thoughtful to our added stress. When I arranged a garage sale, he came by with signs and balloons, and when I had to sell my riding mower early and was not able to cut the grass for the new homeowners, Dee took care of that. The morning of the move he brought by coffee and donuts, which was a thoughtful surprise. After we moved, he kept in touch to see how things were going for us. I wrote him a text telling him how I appreciated not only his professionalism, but also his responsiveness to my concerns, and my awareness of comments he made during the selling process that allowed me to see his sensitive and thoughtful side, something I did not expect in a realtor but was very pleased to see in Dee. I felt that he appreciated getting to know my sister and me as individuals, not just as sellers. It is easy to see why he is a top seller, because he understands the emotional process of selling (in my case leaving the home I lived in for 41 years and raised my children in) as well as the business side. Dee is a very patient, kind and helpful. What we loved the most about Dee was he never made us feel pressured when looking at homes (and we looked at many homes, including the one we bought, multiple times)! He is super responsive and very flexible on time. Will continue to use him in the future!

We worked with Dee twice, initially in 2014-2015 when we bought our fist house and then later on when we moved out of CT and rented it out. Although he was located in the Danbury,CT area, he never minded to drive down to Fairfield,CT to show us properties. He was always available for us.
