Derrick Thornton

I was born in Richmond, VA but I have been a resident of Raleigh for 19 years. This has been the perfect place to grow up and I’m excited to start my own family in this amazing area. I’m a proud graduate of NC State University, where I received an undergraduate degree in Sport Management. Upon graduation, I became a Financial Services Representative with the State Employees Credit Union for two years. I also have over a decade of experience working in the service industry (hotel, restaurants, retail, etc.). These experiences have allowed a multitude of opportunities to learn how to help clients by utilizing my heart for quality service. I`m married to the most amazing woman, and we`re the proud parents of a handsome baby boy! I’m a REALTOR that strongly believes one of the biggest downfalls of society today is a lack of relationship building and a lost sense of community. My greatest purpose in this endeavor is to use my knowledge and care in order to help rebuild these areas for every client I serve.
