Real estate is not what you think! This is one of the many lessons I've learned since I immersed myself in the industry in 2010. I had never considered a career in the real estate world prior to that, nor was I terribly familiar with any aspect of the industry. I had been unemployed for several months, I was becoming overly plump, lazy, and somewhat addicted to video games when a good friend approached me with an opportunity to join his small real estate team. It was a risky move as I had a mortgage, bills, and I jumped into it full force with no back up plan. Stupid move? Possibly, however I was tired of where I was at in life, and needed some big changes. I've not regretted that decision once since it was made, despite the challenges encountered along the way. My reason for being in real estate is simple, I enjoy helping people. I'm good with a wide variety of personalities, and I truly enjoy meeting new people as often as possible!
