Going back into the early 1990's I have been in love with Real Estate. First as an investor, I purchased my first piece of property, a 4 unit on a land contract. I was hooked, and shortly after, I bought a duplex and before you know it, I owned and managed 54 rental units. It taught me about how to run a business, about working with tenants, and how to identify a profitable property. As a result, I then proceeded to get my Real Estate license. It gave me the ability to work with other people to fulfill their dreams of home ownership. It also gave me additional exposure into all the different professionals surrounding the process of purchasing a home. There were the inspectors, lawyers, title agents, and loan officers, all of who play an important role in the getting everyone to the closing table.
