(Zillow Review) 5 Star Review 09/30/21 "PROBATE PIT-BULL GOT MY FAMILY WAY MORE THEN EXPECTED!! Tough year, my aging uncle who I was very close too passed away from Covid in January 2021. Unfortunately, he had no will so in order for my family to recover the high cost we paid for his burial we had to file for probate for his estate. I was eventually named the estate Administrator and was completely lost as to how I would start the process to liquidate my uncles properties. My uncle was retired and nearing 80, he lived in his home since the 70s and it was aging and in rough shape, plus my uncle needed additional money to subsidize his retirement so he had a reverse mortgage. This is when I was introduced to Erik Kaiser-Remax Agent specializing in probate properties. I called Erik and we connected in 24hrs at my uncles primary property. My goal was to sell the house and make enough money to pay the reverse mortgage and my uncles burial cost and probate legal fees. I met Erik at my uncles property and he was very friendly, helpful and took full control over helping me sell the property. However, Erik had bigger plans and felt with a little work we could sell the house for much more then I expected. Erik provided me his vision & strategy for preparing and selling the house and with my approval he went to work. Erik and his team were hard at work within 48hrs, painting, flooring, electrical, kitchen & bath updates, garage repairs and landscape. Erik nearly funded all the enchantments himself, he kept me up to date nearly every other day and answered my calls and emails when I had questions. So now the results as open house finally came and my uncles home looked amazing. This was a ugly aging home, that now looked very modern. I figured the house would sell for around $450k but thanks to Eriks expertise, partnership, hard work and guidance we accepted and closed an offer for $590k. After my father passed, I became the executor of his estate and needed to sell his condo from states away (and during COVID) while going through an extremely stressful time at home. Erik took care of the entire process. (Zillow Review) 5-Star Review 5-14-2020.I was the executor of my familys probate estate. I hired Erik based on a referral I received. The home needed repairs which Erik took the time to find the vendors and negotiate the cost as well as manage the work which was done. We had to paint the entire house and install flooring and carpet as well as clean out the property. Erik did a fantastic job in getting the home ready for sale. He also was able to work with family members who still resided in the home and assist them with relocating. We were listed for sale in Spring of 2020 during the Corona 19 lockdown and although faced with those challenges, he was able to obtain the highest amount for the home which was $50,000 over the probate referees value. We closed escrow at the same value he obtained. He stood out when we received offers which were $30-40,000 less than our list price, yet he was able to find the buyers. To the surprise of us all, the buyer lost his job due to Corona layoffs, but Erik immediately found us another buyer at the same (full list price) and we were back in escrow. He even saved the estate another $4,000 in repair cost which we didnt need to pay. He really went over and above the call of duty for us in the process of getting our family the highest sales price over any other agent and took care of it all.
