Fermin Islas was born on 7-7-1944, in Lockhart Texas. He graduated from Lockhart High School in 1963, and graduated from Southwest Texas State College in 1968 with a degree in accounting. After working for the state of Texas for 35 years (25 in a management position) he decided to retire. Mr. Islas has bought and sold properties in Lockhart for over 25 years. One of his larger projects was the development of the Islas Subdivision in the southwest area of Lockhart. He received his license in Real Estate in 2003, and is now a part owner of Harrison Partners Realty.
