Hillary Smith

O After a lengthy divorce, a long Drive from California and despite a round of illnesses due to the new Texas heat Hillary Smith was my angel. Once I arrived here I was forced to stay in a Motel 6, but Hillary sat down with me, listened to what I wanted, and what I wished for in my retirement and then delivered. After looking at four houses in one day about a week after I arrived, I picked a house that had all I had asked for and a number of the things I wished for. Hillary then helped negotiate a lower price that could accommodate my limited retirement income. I was able to use shortened escrow time to visit family, reacquaint with old college friends, and purchase some new furniture for the new house. Having purchased 2 condos and 2 houses earlier in my life, I was not looking forward to the experience again, but Hillary made it, quick, painless, and even fun. She was easy to contact and though it wasn't necessary to spend a lot of time together over the few weeks before I moved in, she kept me appraised of so many things I did't have to do from inspections to minor repairs. While I don't anticipate ever having to purchase another house, should the need arise my first and I hope last call would be to Hillary Smith.

It was the best. She took her time and found the perfect place for me. She asked many questions to make sure she understood what I wanted.

Hilary was awesome! I was looking for someone that was patient and also made the process fun. When I found something that I wanted to look at, she was making appointments to get us in quickly (especially important with the market right now). She definitely tried to make sure that I was comfortable throughout the process and got my questions answered by the seller and/or seller's realtor. She was knowledgeable about the areas in North Austin and even had good advice regarding soil, foundation and home resales in the area. I was especially thankful one night as she spent over 30 minutes going over the home inspection report with me to make sure I had a good idea of the costs associated so that I could make the appropriate requests for improvement. Closing was seamless! I would highly recommend her. Even months after the closing, she emails to see how things are going!

I felt like I was in very good hands working with Hillary - she was always prepared with information about the house and comps while looking for my purchase and once I made the offer, she and her office really helped to manage the process so that the closing went smoothly. Hillary's goal was to make sure I got exactly what I wanted - she genuinely enjoys helping people find their property. Hillary also had a good network of providers and was able to provide helpful recommendations for financing and insurance providers. Overall, I could not be happier with my experience. Hillary is a professional and is an absolute pleasure to work with!

Hillary found me the perfect home, even down to the perfect plants in the backyard. She took care of SO many crucial details along the way. I don't know how we could have pulled this off with her expertise and hard work through the whole process.

I am so glad I answered my phone when Hillary contacted me regarding my interest in a property! She has been great to work with through the many aspects of finding a home. She is also a great consult for design (another area of her expertise) and she always tries to attend meetings with the builder to make sure that my experience in building/buying this home goes well! She is a solid partner in the entire process and her knowledge and experience has made this so easy for me. I trust and value her!!
