Mrs. Puckett told me that my home would sell fast on day one. And oh boy she was not kidding. I put my home on the market mid-July on a Wednesday and that same day a potential buyer scheduled a tour for that Saturday. The next week on a Friday she called me late that evening about 10 pm telling me that the potential buyer wanted the house and had a date for closing. That was super shocking to me!!!!!! Even though they appear to have a LOT of business, they provided the attention to me that I needed. The only criticism that I have is because they have so many customers, they sometimes needed reminders to answer a question, perform a task, .... Other than that, they negotiated a great deal for me! Which is most important. Another great quality that I appreciated about the Puckett's is that because they are so well known, they have connections with an amazing group of contractors (roofer, plumber, AC, general, ...). My house is a fixer-upper, and the Puckett's helped coordinate repairs with "their guys", whom did amazing work at a reasonable price.

I previously had my mothers home listed with another agent for appr 5 months with little showings and no offers. After contacting the Puckett team, they walked the property with me and made some suggestions for minor improvements. After the improvements were completed and the property was advertised the hold SOLD in 4 days. They know the market. They made the entire process of selling so easy for me. We just closed on our house sale!I was going to post how professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and responsive the Puckett team was. I was going to say how Pam helped us see things from different perspectives to understand what things we needed to do to get our house ready for sale. I was going to mention that she never insisted we do things her way, although she was usually right. And that when challenges arose, she enlisted help and connected us with reliable resources to get things done. But then I realized it would take too long to say all the positives we had in the house selling process. So instead, I will say that if you really want to sell your house in Slidell, in this market, do three things. First, get the Puckett team. I cant imagine theres a better one. Second, listen to Pam. After having my listing with another realtor for a year with not a single offer or phone call for an update, I went on the Internet to search for who was considered the best in Slidell. The Puckett Team seemed to get the most kudos and best reviews so I opted to hire them. They were charged with selling land-locked lots in a subdivision planned back in 1964 which was not completed to provide access to the property in question. The development stopped at 6th Street and the property was on 7th street -- no road or access to it. Despite that, Pam kept at it like a bulldog with a bone. She was relentless. We just had the act of sale a few days ago. I will be forever grateful to all at the Puckett Team for an outstanding job!! Thank you all very much.

My experience started with a trip to the Puckett office where I received a welcome from Jeff Puckett. He introduced me to Kim, the office manager who was an invaluable link for me throughout my selling process. Jeff explained the steps and provided needed guidance and tips for a successful sale. The main tip was to have Pam Puckett come to my house to make suggestions and provide and explain all the paperwork that selling entails. She pointed out the proper answers to many of the disclosure questions that I would not have otherwise responded to correctly. This is a very important document and I highly advise anyone attempting a private sale to have professional guidance for the paperwork. Her advice on the features of my home in need of updating cost me money up front but I more than recouped this amount. The day before pictures another key member of the Puckett Team, Nicole, came to my home with baskets of decor and went room by room setting up staging. I thought the decor in my home along with my furniture looked good before she arrived but in no time it moved into magazine perfect settings. The Puckett Team arranged a professional photographer to capture all the dressed up features of my home then Jeff took drone footage for aerial views. My house previewed on a Thursday and went live on Friday with four showings scheduled. By that afternoon I had two offers over my asking price. It was the offer from the very first showing that morning, which was actually a virtual showing for out of town buyers, that I accepted and have closed on. Family and friends remarked on the attractiveness of my home inside and out which I can give the Puckett Team credit for the final touches.
