My wife and I recently bought a house in Savannah with the help of Jen Smith. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of the transaction.We l ive around the DC area, where we have bought and sold numerous properties. But this was our first long-distance purchase. We scheduled a trip to Savannah and got in touch with Jen. She asked a lot of questions to help us figure out exactly what we were looking for, and then sent us numerous listings to help familiarize us with the Savannah market. We were only in town for a week. Jen was extremely flexible in terms of making time to show us places. And whereas many agents sort of sit back and wait for their clients to research online to figure out which places they want to see, Jen was constantly sending us new listings as they became available. In fact, she sent us one listing roughly 17 minutes after it first came online, sometime after 11:00 p.m. In a hot market like the current market in Savannah, it's important to have an agent who's on top of the new listings. Jen was very organized throughout the process, staying on top of every milestone. She always knew when the termite inspection would be, for example, and the home inspection and the walkthrough. With us being out of town, we were wholly dependent on Jen to be at the house to take care of all of these things, which she did, sending us photos to keep us current.Some agents have a tendency to disappear from time to time. Jen, in our experience, was always available, via email, text or phone whichever worked for us. She always made us feel as if we were her only clients. n nWe've worked with several real estate agents over the last 25 years, some great, some just okay. Jen Smith is the best of all of them personable, knowledgable, available, insightful. We were happy to have her in our corner during what can be a stressful and confusing time. We plan to buy another house in Savannah later this year, and Jen is the only agent we will consider working with.

Jen sold our home very quickly with little headache on our end. She was kind enough to work with us in a short time frame to make a contingency deal go through in the time we needed it to. She did thorough research on the neighborhood, priced our home right from the beginning, and got several offers within days. She is quick and efficient, uses a great photographer, and did a good job negotiating and making the deal happen as smoothly as possible. She is very sweet and personable. You can reach her by text at most hours of the day/night which is a plus since you're not always able to answer the phone.
