Jon has been a Colorado resident since 1974, growing up in Aurora and graduating from Smoky Hill High School. He served as a non-commissioned officer with the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division, received an Honorable Discharge, and returned to Colorado to pursue his education and begin a career in the real estate industry. Jon earned his Real Estate Title Insurance license in 1991 working as a sales representative and sales manager at Title America, LandAmerica, First Integrity Title, and Heritage Title. Jon graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and earned a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado at Denver.
