Jon Espy

John Espy is a Slumlord and a Swindler. We rented from him and he took every opportunity to nickel and dime us, collecting as many fees and unfair payments as possible. For example, we found a subletter for one month. John refused us the right to sublease so that he could collect a rent cancellation fee, even though he used our subletter right away with no problem. There is no reason for that other than Greed. John also stole about $800 in fraudulent charges on our security deposit claiming that they can charge for "estimated repairs". For example, $60 for a single burnt out lightbulb, and charging for carpet cleaning which they did not even do before the next tenant moved in. Shame on this greedy man and his business and his way of taking advantage of renters. If you see the name John Espy, turn the other way.
