My husband and I recently moved to Florida and bought our first home with the help of Jonathan Krauser. The process of moving and finding a temporary place to live while looking for a home can be stressful, especially when starting a new job. A few months before we moved, I was starting the process of looking for homes and reaching out to realtors to get information about the market. Jonathan called back right away and provided the best neighborhoods based on what we wanted in a home. He checked in with us from time to time to make sure our move was going smoothly and even helped us find a temporary place to live as soon as we moved to Florida. He was patient and waited until we were settled in before driving us around to look at potential houses. We had an initial meeting with him before we actually looked at houses and were incredibly impressed that he remembered all the things I mentioned we wanted in a home from months earlier. As soon as we entered the house my husband and I knew instantly that this was the house we were meant to buy. We saw other houses that had potential, but they didn't feel the sense of peace that it was THE house until we stepped onto the property that we now own today. We loved the house so much that we put in a bid that day and went to lunch with Jonathan to talk logistics of what to expect next. He strategized with us on how we can try to get the house before anyone else put in an offer and we committed to our offer that night. Sadly another couple put in a bid later that evening, so we ended up in a bidding war. I cannot tell you how grateful we are to Jonathan for the quick thinking and hard work he put into this deal to help us win the bidding war and still stay within our budget! Jonathan held our hand the whole way through the home buying process and checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly with the title company and the lender. Being as it was our first home, we were not quite sure what was all involved with the process, so it was nice to have Jonathan there to answer our questions and make the process smooth and painless. He even called on the weekends just to chat and make sure we were doing ok and getting excited for closing day. He was there with us at closing and even treated us to lunch afterward to celebrate. He even called to check in on us a week after our move and even offered advice on prepping for a hurricane that was approaching within the next week. He truly cares about his clients and has not only passion for his work, but the knowledge and expertise to go with it. My husband and I are still in awe that this is really our home and were truly thankful for all Jonathan did to help us get into our dream home. This (December 2018) is the second time I have worked with Jonathan as a seller, the previous property closed in 2008.Jonathan is extremely professional, friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to help me find a buyer and close by my stated deadline, for the price I needed to get.While some other agents simply put the listing in the MLS and stick a sign in the yard and wait, Jonathan actually aggressively marketed my home by reaching out to his many contacts- I know this to be true because the property views on Zillow went up exponentially as he did this, and the result was a contract in a matter of days, at top dollar.Also, I was out of the area for a period of time while the listing was active (and subsequently pending), and I was therefore unable to get to the property to do some small things that needed to be done before showing and inspection. Jonathan went the extra mile to do some last-minute cleaning, and went to Home Depot to buy some salt pellets for the water softening system.His suggestions for staging the property were spot-on, and the professional photographs he arranged looked stunning.Bottom line is, I closed in less than 6 weeks from the time the house went on the market, and got top dollar for it based upon appraisal and comparable sales.Also, he really knows the market. In 2007, he predicted the infamous residential real estate crash, and even accurately called its duration (7 years before recovery). This helped me get out of another property before it was too late back in early 2008. I have bought and sold a number of properties over the years and worked with different Realtors, and Jonathan stands out above the pack. I highly recommend him.
