Tell us about your experience with Karen Covey

    • My wife June and I recently completed the sale of our home in the Wells Branch area of Austin and thought it would be remiss if we didnt thank Karen Covey for her outstanding work on our behalf. As you know, some home sales dont always go as planned and ours was more involved than most as we were moving out of state. Buying our retirement home in Cloudcroft, New Mexico was contingent on the sale of our home in Wells Branch and time was extremely critical. We very lucky to have Karen working for us, as she always kept our spirits up when it seemed we might not meet our deadline. As luck would have it, a young couple originally from El Paso and living in an apartment in Austin, fell in love with our home as we had with our choice in Cloudcroft. Getting our home ready for sale required the work of professional contractors and of course, inspectors and servicemen. Karen took care of it all and we were able to meet our deadline and buy our new home in the mountains. There was a lot more hard work and anxiety than Ive spoken of here, but Karen was just great throughout. Our thanks go out to Karen Covey for her professionalism, diligence and caring, and for helping our dreams come true. She is a tremendous asset to your firm and to others who will be lucky to have her as their realtor and friend. On behalf of my Wife June and Grandson Chris, thanks so much.

    • Hello. If you are anything like I was, you are probably wandering aimlessly around the web searching for homes. You want to buy a place, but you don't know where to start. You also don't want to bother with all the hassles that come along with buying a home. AND, you only have six weeks before the lease on your apartment is up! That's the situation I was in until I unknowingly contacted one of Karen's associates. As dumb luck would have it, the associate referred me to Karen, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Even though I didn't know what I was getting into, Karen made the experience totally pleasant and enjoyable. Karen not only turned out to be a great realtor but also a great friend. From my very first conversation with Karen, I knew I found the right realtor for me. I remember feeling very nervous and lost, but after talking with Karen, I suddenly had some sense of direction. She immediately set me up with a mortgage lender and guided me throughout the entire home buying process. Karen took care of all the annoying details and even suggested that I get a home inspector to look over the place before I decided to buy it--something I would have never done on my own. The inspector noted some problems, and Karen made sure the sellers paid for the repairs before I bought the home. I would also like to point out that Karen was much more than a realtor. She is a genuinely nice person who was always available to answer my questions and help solve any problems I was having. In fact, when she would take me to view homes, it felt like I was looking at the homes with a friend, not a realtor. I truly believe that if I had chosen another realtor, I would not have had such a simple and enjoyable home buying experience. Karen made buying a home much, much easier than I could have ever imagined. I only look back now and wonder why I didn't contact her sooner. Thanks for all your help, Karen.

    • I just wanted to provide a brief statement commending Karen Covey on her excellent representation as my realtor in the sale of my home in the Wells Branch area of Austin.Karen continuously supported the expediting of the sale of the home by continuously assessing the market and adjusting the price accordingly. Karen continued to work w/ me during and after my home encountered a problem with inspection. The house was back on the market immediately after the situation was resolved.Overall, Karen was very supportive. She provided contractor support when it was required, and arranged for the payment of the contractor to be taken out at closing. This avoided me having an out-of-pocket expense. Thank you so much for all the support you provided, your professionalism, and your diligence to sell the home. You are definitely an asset

    • We had a great experience working with Karen Covey when we rented a house in Austin a few years ago. When my job transferred us from California back to Austin recently, we immediately thought of Karen to help us find a place to live. Instead of moving into corporate housing or an apartment, we wanted to rent a house again. Karen found us a great house to rent which was in our price range, close to work, and had a nice backyard for the dogs. The best part was that we were able to get everything lined up while we were still in California. Working with Karen made our transition from California to Texas much easier and we appreciate all of her help.
