Karen speaks house! She is an Architect, a Realtor, and vicariously through her husband, a custom home builder. She has a passion & a strong sensibility for envisioning amazing & super cool spaces – if not designing them or creating them, then finding them! She values great neighborhoods with strong identities. She believes in the sustainability of urban density & the preservation of raw land. She loves things with great design, from the very pragmatic to the highly artistic. A Louisiana native, Karen moved to Denver in 2000 with an Architecture degree from LSU. (Geaux Tigers!) As a single mom with a new job in a new town, she bought her first house in the Berkeley neighborhood & for her house-warming party, invited friends to bring their tool belts & sledge hammers – let the Reno begin!
