Orignally from Taiwan, Karl's family moved to Colorado in 1983 when he was eight. After graduating from Colorado State University, Karl took a position at State Farm Insurance as an underwriter. In 2001, he began his real estate career with John Laing Homes as an on-site salesperson in the Stapleton development. As one of Stapleton's first residents, he's met and worked with hundreds of homeowners in the community. He's become such a neighborhood fixture some people actually consider him the unofficial Mayor of Stapleton.
