We started our search from out of state (Michigan) in January, eventually selling our home and coming to IA in May. It took us some time to identify what exactly we wanted but Kathy stuck with us patiently helping us to weed through what was on the market and kept things within our parameters. We were in our new house by early August. She worked well with local family members, sending videos so we could see the houses and determine if it was worth road tripping to Iowa to see them. Kathy responded to all questions & requests quickly, setting up appointments. Frequently grouped them so we could see several in one trip while we were road tripping from Michigan. Very low key, low pressure agent. We would certainly work with her again.

Ive known Kathy since 2014, when she acted as my agent to buy the property listed. I reached out to her again to act as my agent to sell the property in 2018. Its a testament to her knowledge and professionalism that despite knowing her for four years on a relatively informal basis, Kathy still went above and beyond to ensure that I had the maximum level of awareness and context and comfortability with the process. She was a valuable resource for advice on good practice for the final remodeling decisions given the market; she was instrumental in getting all the moving parts of the listing process working together, and we sold the house inside of a week. I never doubted for a moment during the entire process that she had my best interests at heart, or that she was ready for any potential issues. Ive already referred one friend to her, I will refer all future friends to her, and I will work with her again without hesitation once I am ready to re-enter the real estate market.

This is the second time that Kathy has found us a home! We were at the first one for 3.5 years and outgrew it when our family grew. We saw a bigger townhouse on the market we wanted, contacted Kathy, and she was able to get us a showing right away. That townhome had already had an offer on it but with contingency to sell, so she was quick to let us know what we needed to do in order to put in an offer. We knew that it was going to be a small chance for us to get the place since it was a race to sell but we wanted to try, so Kathy put our current townhouse up for listing, got pics taken and up on the listing sites, AND got people to come see our place all within a couple of days. Even though that townhome we liked was taken first and we took our house off the market (wanting to rent it out instead if we found a new place) and started house hunting again, never once was Kathy reluctant to help us. She was so patient with us while we picked out places to see. Everytime we texted her to see if we could see a place, she worked us in right away or as soon as the place allowed. She was also very attentive to details of the houses and pointing out things that I wouldnt have known to look for. We have three young kids who love seeing Kathy when we went house hunting. She listened to them and was very patient with them. Eventually we put in an offer on a big spacious townhome! Kathy gave us info on who we can go through for loan and followed up with everything. Now we are all moved into our new townhome! We are loving the new space. It is the perfect place for our family to grow. We are glad Kathy didnt give up on us with our specific needs such as Feng shui, superstitions with the numbers in the pricings and our need to see certain houses a couple of times even so we could bring our parents a second time to view it. I would recommend Kathy to anyone over and over again. She also has a customer appreciation event every summer that my kids enjoy! She is just such a genuine person and we enjoy seeing her! Kathy worked around the clock to help us get our home and worked very hard to make sure our needs and budget were meet. We ran into some closing issues with seller and Kathy worked to resolve them as quick as possible and pain free. Kathy knows the ins and out of the industry and I would personally recommend her to anyone in the market for finding your next house.

Kathy was super helpful with our house hunting experience. She met with us before we even moved to Iowa and we were just here for a holiday visit. She checked in with us several times during our moving process just to see where we were with the sale of our home in and transition to Iowa.
