**UNPROFESSIONAL AGENT** I want to preface this review by stating that we have several properties and have never had an issue like this with ANY agent. We were the buyers and represented by a reputable agent of 30years. Our agent worked so diligently to make this a smooth and timely transaction. I'm uncertain if Ms. Madewell is aware of how poorly she has handled the representation of this sellers home. I hope for the sake of buyers/sellers/agents alike that they take a moment to read this review and our experience beforehand. From the very beginning... the communication has been nil to none, unreturned calls/texts, dishonest excuses, documents never signed or returned, procrastinated on every aspect, relied on her staff to handle extremely important details an experienced agent should have overseen. On the closing date, we come to the home to conduct our walk-through. The lockbox was gone and we could not enter. The sellers furniture was still in the home! Our agent tried to contact her several times to no avail. Her staff stated that she was busy hosting her talk show! Really, Ms. Madewell? Such disrepect. So she finally calls our agent back 1 hour later and states we can keep the old furniture if we would like. No thank you, we would like for you to do what the contract states. Our movers are paid by the hour and were on their way. She had several people who were not professional movers in the home, trying to hurry and remove the old furniture from each room. I was sincerely concerned and could only think about the spread of Coronavirus, I mean who are these people? Then she goes on to tell this story of how her client has Cancer. Why would she divulge such personal information to excuse herself? Our movers arrive and she drives back and begins yelling at them. I couldn't believe it! She states that she never received the funds from the title company. Our agent stated they were waiting until the house was cleared and we could enter! It was just sent before she arrived, started screaming threatening to call the sheriff? This was her mistake, not ours or our agent's. I was shocked. I have NEVER in my life met an individual so deeply, emotionally unstable and ravaged with hate...enough to yell in front of the neighbors in the middle of our new community. The funds were obviously there the moment she checked her phone and scrambled to save face and leave. From all of the people who witnessed her behavior, all agreed she seemed very disturbed or inebriated in some way. She may have provided acceptable service for previous clients, but Ms. Madewell definitely has some serious personal issues affecting her now. I am certain she will respond with "this a fake review" excuse or place blame on others. Trust in this...it is real review Ms. Madewell. I hope you have taken something from this experience and that is ...It's not about your ego, talk show or facade that matters to clients, but the contents of your morality, professional aptitude and especially your emotional stability.

Jennifer Let's be fair about this, we never even represented you! Your buyers agent gave you keys to a property that was NOT YET FUNDED. This is a BIG NO NO. You were mad because we told you that you could not move anything into the home until the home was closed and funded. Your agent knows the rules and should never have given you guys the keys or allowed access to the home until everything was cleared. If you feel the need to leave me a bad review because of this, so be it, but its my job to protect the sellers home until it was your home, and it was not yet your home. We wish you well. Katrina
